My philosophy as a fitness professional is not just about the number on the scale. I believe in balance and long-term sustainability- making smaller or incremental habitual/behavioral changes that will last a lifetime.
I believe in the world, people, and their culture, that everybody is diverse. There is no such thing as a 'secret' workout/diet plan or a 'one size fits all.' We are all different and the human body is complex. We all have different chemical interactions that are further affected by our daily activities, dietary preferences/exclusions, ethnic background/heritage, body type/composition, age, time, and these are just a few things when I consider one's overall well-being
Every professional was once a beginner. Everything we want in life are also never achieved in a day. I celebrate and focus on daily resolutions/successes- that in turn, accumulated, produces not only long-term changes, but results that make will make you look, feel, and perform best. I approach fitness as a whole - not just the workout and nutrition. I consider external factors such as work (especially with our busy modern lifestyles), stresses, relationships (family and friends), hobbies, and sleep. I believe all of these things affect our well-being and are synergistically connected.
I understand that adapting new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails. My goal is to change your view on fitness, so that it becomes apart of who you are and your lifestyle. I strongly believe through extensive experience that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain a healthy lifestyle. I want to help you perform, keep those high levels of energy throughout the day, and also feel mentally balanced. Everything else will follow as we embark together on this exciting journey.

7 years ago, I embarked on my fitness journey. Although, I was always active when I was young- I was fortunate to grow up in an environment where sports was encouraged that allowed me to play a variety of sports. I was also in my high school swim team and my family was a huge fan of golf. So, health and fitness was always a part of me but never grew into a passion until 5 years ago when I was more consistent with my own workouts.
Believe it or not though, I was never a fan of the gym. In the early stages, I hated it. I skipped a lot of my workouts and came up with every excuse not to go (it felt like a job that I didn't like) so I would quit for a couple of months then at some point gained weight, and would go back to the gym. The cycle went on for a while, on and off, quitting and going back. (I did this for 2-3 years).
Not to also mention, the first gym I ever joined was a Gold's Gym. I was intimidated. Everybody looked amazing and everybody looked like they knew what they were doing. I felt like I was being stared at so I quit the gym and decided to look for workout programs I could do at home.
Insanity by Beach Body is where my journey started. I did not only enjoy the workout but, I also loved the challenge. What I also loved about it at that time though, was the fact that I could do it at home without people noticing me. (I was very conscious of my body when I was at the gym).
Once I was in a consistent routine with Insanity, I noticed the changes with not only my body but with also my mentality. I not only started embracing my own body but also my own capabilities. It changed my mind and told myself, 'if everybody else can do it, I can do it too!' and ever since, everything changed. I began to realize that fitness is a journey towards yourself - It's not a destination towards a number on the scale & it's not a competition with others. It's your test in life to see how far you can push yourself. How far you can challenge your mind and body, exceed your limits or reach your potential, and daily performance.
After a few cycles of insanity, I became more aware of my body and also grew a general curiosity of the science behind exercises/human body. I was also ready for a new challenge so I decided to join the gym once again and I owned it! I researched on different exercises that I could do at the gym and also incorporated some movements I did through Insanity. I started enjoying the gym more- I began to follow different workout and nutrition programs before I decided to pursue personal training in 2017.
In 2018, I joined Equinox as a fitness professional where I got to practice and develop my coaching.
While learning and also going through continued education, I was able to refine my knowledge in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Musculoskeletal Pathology, Detailed Exercise Sciences and Nutrition.
While implementing the knowledge and skills learned everyday and developing my own coaching style, I wanted to give myself even a bigger challenge. I wanted to see what my body could do with my own knowledge, with also the support/help of successful people in the industry and putting in all my best/maximum.
In 2019, I embarked on a 8 month journey to my first physique competition that completely transformed my physique.
I wasn't just going purely for the aesthetics but I want to say I mainly focused on the process everyday with a mindset to learn and improve (you can follow my journey in detail on my instagram). When I look back on my journey, it wasn't only the physical training that got me there. It was mostly my mental toughness.
This is one of my main reasons why I created my website. Through my services that I provide, I want to change mindsets first. Mindset and the way and how you look at your health and fitness will change everything. At least in my own experience, I want to share my journey, knowledge and most of all provide the rawest/realistic and of course science based approach to information.
I want you to BECOME rather than just TRANSFORM.
